We just spent two days down in Atlanta, GA hearing some amazing panels comprised of fellow FORE grantees doing incredible work supporting those affected by substance use disorder and opioid use disorder. We got to participate in workshops tailored towards helping our nonprofits thrive, as well as network with organizations we can learn from. We are so excited to bring back this collaborative energy to our community and discover all of the ways our organization can better serve those affected by addiction!

We had an excellent turnout and beautiful weather for our 4th Annual Run for Recovery on August 29! Thank you to everyone who walked, ran, or came out for the community social with music by Homer’s own Shamwari Marimba Ensemble. Every step taken and every mile completed helped raise awareness, spread hope, and reminded us recovery is possible—and that no one has to walk the journey alone.
