Please join us in welcoming our newest Board Member, Mandee Johnson, to the Reach for Recovery family!
We are excited to have Mandee join our Board and look forward to the passion, perspective, and leadership she will bring to our mission and community. Her support and commitment to helping others make her a wonderful addition to our team, and we are grateful to have her alongside us as we continue making an impact together.
Here’s what our Executive Director had to say:
“I first had the opportunity to work alongside Mandee about a year and a half ago through her involvement with the planning committee for our inaugural Swing Fore Recovery golf tournament fundraiser. From the very beginning, she distinguished herself through her strong work ethic, keen attention to detail, and—most importantly—her genuine passion for our mission. Her contributions were instrumental in making that first event a tremendous success.
Since then, Mandee has remained a steadfast supporter of Reach for Recovery through her generosity, referrals, and commitment to expanding awareness of our services. Her continued engagement reflects not only her belief in our work, but also her deep care for the individuals and communities we serve.
I am excited about the future of our organization with Mandee now serving on our Board of Directors and as a member of our Marketing & Development Committee. She brings a fresh perspective, strong energy, and valuable connections throughout West Michigan that will help us grow our impact and advance our mission."
When asked what recovery means to her, Mandee shared:
"Recovery to me is allowing yourself to feel that you are worthy. It’s healing for me to help others in their recovery journey because it helps me overcome and break generational trauma within myself and my family."
