When asked for suggestions of ways to support a young person’s (or parents) new or existing interest in aviation, we often suggest attending area FLY-INs. Fly Ins are just what they sound like - people with aircraft fly in to small/mid sized airports for fellowship, food, and various activities. The best part? Most fly ins are also open to the public! (Some events are small and quaint while others are big and action packed). These events are a great way to surround yourself with fellow aviation enthusiasts, pilots, aircraft, good food, and fun activities. With warmer weather approaching, fly ins are gearing up. Flight Path board members and volunteers are keeping an eye out for information and we will pass it along here as we get it. Keep checking back as new dates and locations can pop up often!
