Meet Robin, one of our Resale Associates at Resale South! 👋

From working the sales floor and register to processing donations and greeting donors, Robin loves the variety each day brings. But her favorite part is the people: getting to know regular shoppers, working alongside her Resale teammates, and helping create a place where neighbors feel welcome and connected. 🩵

Robin has been part of our team for four years, and one moment that stands out is helping a shopper choose a rocking chair for her home. The shopper shared that she wanted a special place to hold her grandchildren and spend time together as a family. Robin was grateful to play a small part in helping turn her apartment into a home! 🏠

Now that Resale South is open again, Robin is looking forward to reconnecting with the southside community and welcoming neighbors back through the doors.

We’re so thankful for our friends at We Are Haworth! 🩵

One of the teams from their Laminate department volunteered at Resale South this week, and they brought such great energy! We’re so grateful for their time, enthusiasm, and willingness to serve our community.

When our community comes together, we can help our neighbors thrive. 🤝

Doing a little back-to-school cleaning? A new school year is a natural time to clear out what you’ve outgrown or no longer need—and pass it along to a neighbor who can use it.

Your gently used items can help families access essential goods through our Resale Stores. 🩵

Every donation fuels our mission by providing food, clothing, shelter, and opportunity for our neighbors. Everything in our stores is “from neighbors, for neighbors.”

Meet Trevor, one of our Resale Specialists at Resale South! 👋

With more than 10 years of retail experience, Trevor joined the Community Action House team last year and quickly discovered that nonprofit retail was exactly where he wanted to be. Reflecting on his decision, Trevor shared, "It was the best decision of my life... It's retail with a mission!" 🛍️

As part of our southside team, Trevor helps lead donation intake and processing, keeping our Resale South location running strong. His favorite part of the job is knowing that every donated item, every purchase, and every volunteer hour helps connect neighbors with healthy food, housing support, and resources that build brighter futures.

Want to say hi to Trevor and the team? Resale South is now open for donations Monday through Saturday from 10 AM to 5 PM! 🩵
