Building the Future Together
We believe that our children are our most important resource for the future. Together we create a better future by guiding children into being adults who care for their community and others.
Our board decided to start a Navigators Chapter in West Michigan as the core values of the national organization are what we want to pass on to our kids. We do this in a fun and engaging way through badge achievement, learning opportunities, and service in the local community.
Together we have gone camping, built and raced Pinewood Derby cars, learned to cook a meal for families who are experiencing medical challenges at Ronald McDonald House, visited a farm, learned about safety from our local police department, explored the beauty of West Michigan completing our geocaching and hiking badges, created our own board games and learned about fair play, helped clean up our community at the Grand River and Macatawa cleanup events, and much more! We look forward to what the coming years have in store!
Navigators is a gender inclusive scouting organization that encourages whole family participation, outdoor activity, and service. It is a joy to watch the kids learn and grow!
