Still thinking about DCON.

During the district convention, over 200 boxes for The Jared Box Project were filled and decorated by Kiwanis members.

Service is what we do, service is who we are.

🎉 Big News for Vernon County Families and Community Organizations! 🧱

The Kiwanis Club of Greater Vernon County is excited to announce the launch of their new "Building Connections Through LEGO" Play Collection. This amazing collection was made possible through a generous $1,000 grant from the Missouri-Arkansas District Kiwanis Foundation's Earl Collins Foundation Service Leadership Program.

The collection will be administered by On My Own, Inc. and is designed to bring people of all ages together through creative, hands-on experiences.

These LEGO and DUPLO resources will support:
🧱 Family engagement events
🧱 Parent support group activities
🧱 Inclusive programming for children of all abilities
🧱 School and youth organization events
🧱 Community clubs and nonprofit programs
🧱 Senior activities that promote creativity, dexterity, and social connection

Community organizations throughout Vernon County are encouraged to borrow the collection to host their own LEGO-building events that inspire imagination, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving.

This project reflects Kiwanis' commitment to improving the lives of children and families by creating opportunities for learning, inclusion, and meaningful connections—one brick at a time.

A sincere thank you to the MO-ARK Kiwanis Foundation's Earl Collins Grant program for investing in projects that strengthen communities and support children and families across Missouri.

For information about reserving the LEGO collection for your organization or program, contact On My Own, Inc.
