The D-UP Kids Zone gave our children a chance to explore, learn, play, and experience different cultures, all while staying right here in High Point. And seeing so many families come through and enjoy what we created made it even more special. 🥹✨

Thank you to Savor High Point for the opportunity to be a part of such a beautiful celebration of what makes our city special.

WE TRAVELED THE WORLD WITHOUT EVER LEAVING HIGH POINT! 🌎✈️💚💜

What an AMAZING day at Savor High Point! Our D-UP Kids Zone was full of games, smiles, laughter, creativity, culture, and FUN from beginning to end! 🎉

From country to country and activity to activity, our kids got a little taste of the world right here in our own city, and the turnout was incredible! 🙌🏾

A HUGE thank you to Savor High Point savorhighpoint for giving D-UP the opportunity to create a space especially for our children and families. And thank YOU to every family, every child, and every person who stopped by the Kids Zone and took the journey with us. 🥰🌍

Our passports may not have been real, but these memories definitely are! ✈️💚

Our D-UP garden is STILL growing and giving! 🙌🏾

Fresh peppers, watermelon, tomatoes and lots of garden goodness, all grown right here! There’s something extra special about watching our students get excited to see what started as a tiny seed turn into something they can actually pick, hold, and enjoy. 🥹🌱

Little hands. Big harvest. Even BIGGER smiles! 💚💜

As our students transition into their next level, we’re already receiving GREAT reports from their first week so far! 🙌🏾 And that’s what we love to hear.

Take a look at these AMAZING finished pieces created by our students during this summer’s pottery program! 🤩 Every piece tells its own story and showcases the creativity, personality, and talent of our young sculptors.

A huge THANK YOU to Arts Alliance of Greensboro Art Alliance for providing such a wonderful creative experience for our students this summer. And a very special thank you to Clem, our incredible instructor who poured into our students all summer long, teaching, encouraging, and giving them the freedom to explore their creativity. 💜💚

We also extend our sincere gratitude to Susan Harman of the Hayden Harman Foundation for the special funding that helped make this opportunity possible.

The finished pieces speak for themselves! 👏🏾🏺🎨 Our students created something they can be proud of, and we are so proud of THEM!

This year, the 16th Annual Washington Street Unity Festival is celebrating Coming of Age, and we’re giving flowers to the people whose lives, work, talent, service, and legacy helped shape the Washington Street community. ❤️

We will honor 16 Lights, Pillars, Legends & Icons of Washington Street, One for every year of Unity Festival.

🎷 John Coltrane is one. Now we need YOU to help us choose the other 15.

Who comes to mind when you think about Washington Street?

🌱🏆 🪴🪏Another Season From Seeds to Success!🧑🏽‍🌾👩🏽‍🌾🏆🌱

We did it AGAIN! D-UP’s Eatery Sprout Garden has been named Best Overall Garden for the SECOND year in a row! 💜💚

The judges loved the variety of recognizable vegetables and the beautiful way our flowers and vegetables grow together throughout the garden. 🌻🥬🍅

We’re proud of everyone who helped plant, nurture, water, and grow our garden this season, especially our young gardeners! 🌱

Congratulations to all of this year’s winners and participants! This is what amazing community looks like.
