Over 7,000 feminine hygiene kits were deployed across North Carolina by I Am A Queen’s board of directors to 18 schools and nonprofits!

Our only intention was to impact Guilford and Rockingham Counties but God saw fit for bigger. We expanded to Durham and Wake Counties through local partnerships and friends.

Thank you to everyone who supported bringing dignity back to menstrual health.

One thing that has always mattered to me is making mental health support more accessible to the people who need it. I’m grateful to share that Getting To Happy Wellness, PLLC is now accepting clients with NC Healthy Blue and Carolina Complete Health Standard Medicaid plans.

Guilford Park Boys - Starting on Thursday, August 27

I Am A Queen is excited to share an opportunity from one of our valued partners — Guilford Park Guys, a mentoring program designed specifically for teen boys in grades 8–12.

This inspiring initiative is led by male students from North Carolina A&T State University, who serve as mentors and positive role models. The program provides a supportive space for young men to grow in confidence, leadership, and character.

Location: Guilford Park Presbyterian Church, Greensboro, N.C.
Start Date: Fall 2026 (Thursday, August 27)
Schedule: Thursdays | 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
