🛠️💙 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TOMORROW FOR STRAP SUNDAY! 💙🛠️

The High Point Elks Pool Committee is rolling up our sleeves tomorrow beginning at NOON to help get the pool ready for another amazing summer season, and we would love extra hands!
We’ll be: ✔ Repairing pool lounge chairs
✔ Replacing chair straps
✔ Staining the diving board steps
✔ Painting the lifeguard area
✔ Painting bathroom floors
✔ Tackling lots of small cleanup and improvement projects

The High Point Elks Lodge is so much more than just a pool. The Elks support veterans, youth programs, scholarships, community outreach, charitable causes, local families in need, and provide a place where friendships and community connections are built year after year. 🇺🇸❤️
Every coat of paint, every repaired chair, and every helping hand helps keep this space welcoming for families all summer long.
✨ You do NOT have to be an Elks member to help!
Members, friends, scouts, families, neighbors, and community supporters are all welcome. No special skills needed, just a willingness to help. Many hands truly make light work!

A huge thank you to Lowe’s Hardware off North Main Street for donating the stain and paint supplies for this project! 🧡

Last night we celebrated an incredible milestone as Troop 42 gathered to honor Tristan Pratt at his Eagle Court of Honor. 🦅❤️💙

The rank of Eagle Scout represents years of hard work, leadership, service, perseverance, and dedication. It is not simply an award earned overnight, but the result of countless campouts, service projects, leadership moments, late nights, muddy boots, challenges overcome, and a commitment to living the Scout Oath and Law every single day.

Tristan, we are so proud of the young man and leader you have become. Your impact on those around you, especially the younger scouts who look up to you, will last far beyond tonight’s ceremony. Thank you for setting an example of servant leadership, determination, and character.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make tonight special, and to all the leaders, family members, mentors, and fellow scouts who have walked beside Tristan on this journey.

Congratulations, Eagle Scout Tristan Pratt! Your Troop 42 family is proud of you today and excited to see where life leads you next. ⚜️🦅

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing moms, grandmothers, stepmoms, foster moms, and mother figures who help shape the lives of our Scouts.

Thank you for the early mornings, muddy laundry, late night rides, camp packing, encouragement at every rank advancement, and the steady love that helps young people grow into strong leaders of character.

Behind every confident Scout is often a mom cheering quietly in the background, tying loose ends, lifting spirits, and believing fiercely in what they can become.

Today we celebrate YOU. ❤️

A brand new merit badge will be added on Monday!!

We are excited to announce the Multisport Merit badge is coming as of March 1st! This badge was developed in partnership with in partnership with USA Triathlon, and is focused on learning about physical endurance activities and lifestyle. This badge will focus on demonstrating proficiency in a combination of swimming, cycling, and running through an exciting set of challenges and skill-building activities! We hope this inspires the next generation of triathlon athletes!

Winter camp started off cold and rainy but ended warm and sunny!! Ray and Ashton earned some great merit badges, made some new friends and had a blast!!!
Congratulations to Ashton for earning the Cherokee Longhunter award for having the best score in Blackpowder in all of winter camp!
