Congratulations to Driver Joe Gregory on his retirement from the Hamilton Fire Department!

After serving 6 years in the U.S. Navy, Brother Gregory came back to his hometown where he served his community for a total of 30 years for the Hamilton Fire Department. Including 21 of those years as a promoted driver.

Joe had an impactful career with the department. He was a trusted mentor, a dedicated advocate for physical health who competed in numerous fire fighter fitness competitions, and a great storyteller.

Thank you for your service to both our country and our community. Your presence around the firehouse will be missed. Wishing you and your family all the best. Remember, coffee is always on!

Congratulations Brother Gregory!

Today marks 25 years since September 11th, 2001.

Twenty five years since 343 members of the FDNY answered the call, and paid the ultimate sacrifice.

Twenty five years later, it is our responsibility to make sure their sacrifice is never forgotten.

Local 20 stands strong with, and remembers the 343 that lost their lives, and those who have lost theirs in the years since.

Never Forgotten.

The Lionheart Collective Brave Bags are now being carried by Hamilton Fire Department frontline units!

These bags bridge the gap between fire fighters and individuals with disabilities, ensuring compassion, safety, and understanding in moments of crisis.

A little Brave Bag update!

As of today, you can find Brave Bags at Morgan Township Fire and Hamilton Fire!

We’re SO excited to see these bags making their way into the hands of the people who need them and, even more, to hear the stories from the communities using them.

We’re so thankful for the departments who believe in this mission and continue to partner with us to make it happen. This is exactly why we do what we do.

And we’re just getting started!
