🌧️ We’ve definitely had our share of rainy days lately… but next week is looking full of sunshine! Remember to get out and take advantage of summer programs like these in our parks! ☀️💦

We are ONE WEEK away from our Kickball Kickoff at LJ Smith Park!

Join us next Tuesday, June 2nd at 11AM on the baseball field next to the splash pad to kick off the summer!

We'll have lunch, games, snacks, and more! All ages welcome!

You can meet us every Tuesday in the North End and every Wednesday at Crawford Woods for FREE summer programming in partnership with the Hamilton Parks Conservancy!

☀️🍎 FREE Summer Meals are rolling back into Hamilton! 🚚💙

Hamilton City Schools’ Big Blue Food Truck is returning to our parks this summer with FREE meals for all children 18 & under from 11 AM – 1 PM, weather permitting!

📍 Stops include:
• Millikin Woods
• Benninghofen
• Jim Grimm
• Booker T. Washington Community Center

Families can also enjoy splash parks while grabbing a healthy meal throughout June and July. Adult meals will also be available for purchase.

A huge thank you to all community partners helping make sure kids stay fueled and having fun this summer! ☀️💦🍽️

💦☀️ Get ready to splash into summer!

Our spraygrounds officially open tomorrow, May 23rd and will be open all season long through Labor Day weekend! Bring the kids, cool off, and enjoy some fun in the sun at your local parks.

Please note: The Parks Office will be closed on Monday in observance of Memorial Day as we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

It’s been a busy (and fun!) week for the animals in our community! 🐾🐐

From hosting our Meet the Goats night to celebrating the reopening of the Bark Park at Veterans Park, it’s been great to see so many residents and their four-legged friends out enjoying our spaces.

We want to extend a huge thank you to our partners at MetroParks of Butler County for helping make Meet the Goats such a success! Those hardworking “landscapers” were definitely a crowd favorite! 🍃🐐

We’re also incredibly grateful to 17STRONG-Hamilton, Hamilton Community Foundation (OH), and the group of 6th graders from Bridgeport Elementary who helped bring new life to the Bark Park through their nanogrant project last school year. Your ideas and effort helped inspire meaningful improvements that our community (and its dogs!) are already enjoying.

A special shoutout to all of our parks crew for the time, effort, and care that went into these improvements. From installing new equipment to making sure the parks are in the best shape possible for the community, your hard work does not go unnoticed and we appreciate everything you do!

Thank you to everyone who came out, supported these events, and continues to invest in our parks! We love seeing our community come together! 💚
