First Serve Bridgeport CT Non profit, FSB is a USTA National Junior Tennis and Learning program (NJTL) for kids in Bridgeport.

First Serve Bridgeport is a USTA National Junior Tennis and Learning program that provides a path to success for children living in Bridgeport, CT. We provide a safe place where kids exercise, learn teamwork and set personal goals. Our programs combine on-court instruction, competitive play, and intense academic tutoring. Our kids gain exposure to positive adult role models and opportunities for h

igher education. Our goal for our kids is to compete on their high school varsity tennis teams, perform academically and be assets to their communities.

A big THANK YOU goes out to Jack & Carole Waite of the Burning Tree Country Club in Greenwich and their junior players. The Waites motivated their juniors this Winter by setting up “The Rally Challenge.” All junior players rallied for a concentrated ten minutes at each clinic. All rallies were counted together during the Winter season for a Burning Tree Country Club rally total. Jack told the kids that he would donate $1.00 to FSB for every 100 ball rallies. The junior players at Burning Tree ended up making 15,000 rallies! Incredible! Jack presented First Serve Bridgeport with his donation check today. What a creative, thoughtful and motivating program! Thank you!
