Strike up the Orchestra! See you on Friday, June 26th at Hamden Town Center Park for our biggest celebration yet! Journey across the Stars and Stripes with us as we countdown to Hamden Fireworks!

Join us for Hamden’s annual fireworks celebration on Friday, June 26 at Hamden Town Center Park as we celebrate America's 250th and Hamden's 240th anniversaries.

Bring your family, friends, and blankets for an evening of music, food, and fun as we light up the sky in celebration of our community. Festivities begin at 6:00 PM., and the fireworks show will start at 9:20 PM. Don't miss music from the Hamden Symphony Orchestra.

The Great Give 2026 starts tomorrow 5/6! Help us meet our $4,000 fundraising goal by this Thursday night and finish our 64th season in great shape as we prepare for another special summer for us and our 65th season starting this Fall!

Your dollars go to many things:
- Performance space for our concerts
- Music rentals and purchases
- Our Young Musicians Concerto Competition and Ruth T. Brooks Award for Excellence in Music educational programs
- Instrument refurbishments so we can add to our ever growing collection we can loan to interested musicians who don't have one; this year a very significant bassoon to the history of our Orchestra joined that collection
- And of course our basic ability to operate!
