The researchers neglected community orchestras (as well as choirs and concert bands), but still encouraging. Our participation numbers have been growing really since 2022, and this coming season could see a whole new level in itself!

Young people raised online are doing something bold: going out.

The wheels are already starting to turn as we look ahead to our 65th season this Fall. Play an instrument? Particularly looking for additional Strings (violin, viola, cello, bass), as well as trumpet, french horn and harp. Please inquire for openings in other sections. Rehearsals to begin in September on Thursday evenings.

The Stars were truly aligned tonight for another amazing night of music, community and of course Fireworks. Thank you Hamden, CT USA for having us once again!

That's a wrap on our 2025-2026 season and we look forward to seeing you this Fall for an extra special 65th Season! Have a great summer!

The day has arrived for Hamden 2026 Independence Day Fireworks, celebrating Hamden's 240th and America's 250th! Festivities kick off at 6 PM at Town Center Park and our program aptly titled, "Across the Stars and Stripes" starts at 7:30 PM! The full program book will be posted Friday afternoon, but for now some photos from our last rehearsal featuring over 65 volunteer musicians from Hamden and beyond.

Join us for Hamden’s annual fireworks celebration on Friday, June 26 at Hamden Town Center Park as we celebrate America's 250th and Hamden's 240th anniversaries.

Bring your family, friends, and blankets for an evening of music, food, and fun as we light up the sky in celebration of our community. Festivities begin at 6:00 PM., and the fireworks show will start at 9:20 PM. Don't miss music from the Hamden Symphony Orchestra.
