Quinnipiac Alumni The journey of a Quinnipiac alum begins as a student and continues long after graduation as a member of our alumni community.

We welcome all 74,000+ alumni to follow us to stay up to date on how they can stay connected and meet others across QU nation! The association enables alumni to take pride in Quinnipiac’s accomplishments, enjoy the traditions that highlighted members’ collegiate experiences and get involved with the growing university. Half a century after their graduation, Quinnipiac's Class of 1976 was honored as Golden Bobcats at this year's Alumni Heritage Luncheon during Bobcat Weekend!

They joined fellow graduates from 50 years ago or more as we celebrated everyone who is the foundation of our Quinnipiac community.

The guests of honor were nine members of the Class of 1976, the year the nation celebrated its bicentennial, Jimmy Carter was elected as the 39th president and the university’s fledgling men’s ice hockey program completed its first year as a varsity sport.

Throughout the afternoon, attendees caught up over an elegant lunch, swapped memories from their college years and heard updates on the university’s future trajectory.

During Bobcat Weekend, the School of Communications celebrated our alumni by inducting two new Hall of Fame members, Amanda Gifford Lockwood MS ‘08 and Marlon LeWinter ’03!

Amanda is Senior Vice President of Production for ESPN, overseeing ESPN’s college football coverage of more than a thousand regular-season and bowl games. She also leads events and studio productions for several NCAA sports.

Marlon has 19 years of experience in Public Relations. He’s built award-winning campaigns for brands including Under Armour, Microsoft, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Celsius Energy Drinks, Hugo Boss, Yahoo Sports, Timex and many others.

It was incredible to have both trailblazers back on campus to celebrate this honor and connect with our community.

We are just two weeks away from this year’s Bobcat Challenge! On October 21–22, our Quinnipiac community will rally for 48 hours of support, pride, and momentum for our student‑athletes.

This year’s goal is our most ambitious yet, and we’ll need the full strength of Bobcat Nation to get there!
