Our annual Trunk or Treat was a huge success! From creatively decorated cars and fantastic costumes to a spirited costume contest, the evening was filled with Halloween fun, laughter, and plenty of treats!

A big THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this event so special:

Brunswick School and members of our Board of Directors for generously donating all the candy (and toothbrushes, too! 🪥).

Whole Foods Market for providing delicious apple c***r to keep everyone in the fall spirit.

Our local first responders for bringing their impressive emergency vehicles, joining in the festivities, and making the evening even more exciting for our Club kids and families!

Greenwich Police Silver Shield Association for donating the bags to haul around all of the goodies!

And, of course, a huge shout-out to our incredible staff, volunteers, and everyone who decorated their trunks and helped bring the Halloween magic to life!

Thank you to all the families who joined us for a wonderful evening of community, creativity, and fun. We can’t wait to do it again next year!

Things were heating up in our Clubhouse Café as a group of middle school members rolled up their sleeves for a hands-on baking lesson!

Under the guidance of our Kitchen Manager, Lissette, with help from after-school staff member Isaiah, our young bakers learned how to make delicious pumpkin cream cheese swirl muffins from scratch — measuring ingredients, mixing batter, and mastering a few new kitchen skills along the way.

And the best part? Their freshly baked creations were served as today’s after-school snack for their fellow Club members!

Who taught you how to bake?

A group of BGCG youth headed to Marist College on Saturday to cheer on the University of St. Thomas Tommies as they took on the Marist Red Foxes!

The outing was especially meaningful because St. Thomas Head Coach is a Greenwich native, former Greenwich High School football standout who has gone on to build a successful career as an NCAA football coach.

Our Club members had the opportunity to meet Coach Caruso and experience the excitement of college football firsthand, a great reminder of where hard work, dedication and determination can lead!

A special thank you to Mike Chambers, a former BGCG Club kid and our 1992 Youth of the Year, for making this experience possible. We’re also grateful to Craig Baker of Boys and Girls Club of Stamford, Inc for helping bring everyone together and Rinaldi’s for generously donating lunch for our kids.

This past Tuesday, members of our Keystone Club participated in a career panel hosted by Morgan Stanley, where they had the opportunity to hear from professionals, ask questions, and gain valuable insights into careers in finance and the workplace.

Experiences like these are an important part of our College and Career Readiness program, helping teens explore career possibilities, develop professional skills, and build confidence as they plan for their futures.

We're excited to continue our partnership with Morgan Stanley on November 10, when their team will return to the Club to lead mock interviews with our high school members, providing valuable hands-on experience.

Thank you to Morgan Stanley and our panelists for investing their time and expertise in helping our teens prepare for the opportunities ahead!

We love welcoming our community partners to the Clubhouse!

Today, volunteers from the Junior League of Greenwich spent the afternoon connecting with our Club kids, joining in activities throughout the building, and preparing sandwiches for more than 300 youth!

Thank you to the Junior League of Greenwich for being such a wonderful partner and for sharing your time and enthusiasm with our Club community!
