During National Volunteer Month, we're celebrating the generous Greenwich neighbors who give their time to support At Home in Greenwich members — whether that's a ride to a doctor's appointment, a friendly call, or a helping hand at one of our events. Today's Member Spotlight shines on Marv Berenblum, a member since 2018 and one of At Home in Greenwich's most dedicated voices — as a former Board Chair, a cornerstone of our Men's Discussion Group, and an enthusiastic hand in program planning.

When asked what surprised him most about At Home, Marv pointed to something simple and profound: the strength of the community. "The care and support that each person not only receives but gives as well — that goes for the Board, volunteers, other members, and staff who give from the heart and soul."

What keeps him going? Paying it forward. "My life has been characterized by having a helping hand, and I'm able to do the same for others."

And his advice on getting older? "Keep young at heart and realize that you may not be able to do things exactly as you used to — but you can still do things!" 💙

We're so grateful for everything Marv brings to this community.
