"Sharing Cultures and Promoting Education” AHAM is made up of diverse, dynamic, working Hispanic women who enjoy sharing their culture and language.

The Hispanic-American Women’s Association, known as AHAM, is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, formed by women of Hispanic descent who are interested in preserving their culture and increasing educational opportunities to Hispanic students in the Upstate of South Carolina. AHAM also welcomes members of other cultures who are interested in learning more about our culture and traditions. Non-Hispanic AHAM members also share our goal of helping the Hispanic youth in Upstate SC to reach their dream of pursuing higher education.
