A huge thank you to all of the dancers who applied to the Dancing for Dancers Scholarship! We were so inspired by the talent, dedication, and passion shared in every application.

We received an overwhelming number of applications from dancers across Texas, South Carolina, Florida, Illinois, California, Missouri, Massachusetts, New York, Virginia, Washington, and North Carolina. The applications were incredible, and it made decisions truly challenging.

Scholarship results have officially been sent out, so be sure to check your email

A huge shoutout to one of our longtime D4D performers who continues to make an impact

After hosting a Parent Night Out at her studio, Vera Glenn raised over $900 for the Dancing for Dancers scholarship fund! Not only was the event a success, but she also took time to talk with the young dancers about the bigger picture, who they are helping and where the proceeds will go.

They had meaningful conversations about why they love dance and why it matters to help make it accessible for others. Creating opportunities, building empathy, and giving back. This is what it’s all about.

We are so proud and grateful. Thank you to Vera and her studio!

Next year Vera plans to study biomedical engineering at the University of Iowa in order to work in prosthetics! "This way, people with disabilities and physical limitations can continue to do the things they love like dance, sports, extracurriculars, etc. I also plan on being an active member of their dance club and taking dance classes regularly."

We're so excited for your next adventure. We will be cheering you on!
