Meet Blake.
Blake was adopted from us back in 2021. On Tuesday, we received a call from a local shelter informing us that Blake had been found as a stray. When they contacted his owner, they were told they no longer wanted him.
We immediately had to scramble to find somewhere safe for Blake to go. At that moment, we had no information about his current temperament, medical needs, behavior around other animals, or any changes that may have occurred over the last several years. Thankfully, our amazing trainer stepped up and was able to pick him up. Blake has been settling in with her over the last two days while we work through the next steps.
This situation is incredibly disappointing and heartbreaking.
If you can no longer keep your dog, abandoning them and leaving a shelter to contact the rescue years later is not an appropriate way to handle the situation. We understand that life circumstances change, and sometimes difficult decisions must be made. However, responsible pet ownership means reaching out for help and communicating before a crisis occurs.
Because we received no information from his previous owner, we are now starting from square one. Blake will need veterinary care, updated vaccinations, evaluations, and time for us to learn about his needs so we can determine the best placement for him moving forward. This takes time, resources, and funding that could have been better planned for had we been contacted directly.
The good news is that Blake is safe. ❤️
We are grateful to our trainer for stepping up on such short notice and to everyone who supports our rescue mission. We are committed to giving him the care, patience, and second chance he deserves. 🐾

These adorable little video game stars are ready to level up into their forever homes! 🐾 At just 10 weeks old, these Beagle/Chihuahua mix puppies are already stealing hearts everywhere they go.

Mario, Luigi, and Peach currently weigh between 5-6 lbs and are full of puppy energy, curiosity, and cuddles. ❤️ They love exploring, playing with toys, wrestling with their siblings, and then crashing for a well-earned nap. 💤

These tiny adventurers are learning all about the world around them and will need families committed to helping them continue their puppy training, socialization, and house-training journey. 🎮✨

We are desperately in need of committed foster families for dogs and puppies. Right now, lives are depending on people willing to open their hearts and homes. Without foster homes, we simply cannot save them. 💔

Every day we receive pleas for help, but without a safe place for these dogs to go, many of them won't get the second chance they deserve. We are at a critical point and need our community to step up.

"If I show you my turtle toy, will that make you want to adopt me?" 🐢💔

This sweet face belongs to Livvy. She has been waiting for her family since she was just 10 weeks old. Now, she's closing in on 5 months old and still no one has come for her.

Not one application.
Not one meet and greet.
Not one family asking about her. 😢

Meanwhile, Livvy continues to be the happy, playful puppy she's always been. She loves other dogs 🐶, does well with cats 🐱, and has been wonderful with children at our adoption events ❤️. She's working hard on her housetraining and crate training and is growing into an amazing young dog.

Every day she waits, hoping that maybe today will be the day someone notices her. Maybe today will be the day someone falls in love with her goofy smile, her playful personality, and her sweet heart. 🥹

We know her family is out there somewhere. We just can't understand why they haven't found her yet.

Please help us share Livvy's story. She deserves more than growing up in rescue. She deserves a couch to nap on, toys scattered across the floor, and a family who loves her forever. 🏡💕🐾
