First Tee - West Michigan First Tee - West Michigan is a youth development program that teaches youth core values and life skills through the game of golf.

Over 4.7 million kids have been reached worldwide through First Tee! We are in the final stages of development, and need your help to begin programming this summer!

What a great day at Indian Trails Golf Course! 💚⛳ Perfect weather, incredible energy, records broken, and memories made. 26 marathoners spent the day playing and fundraising to create opportunities for students in our programs.

Congratulations to Addi Schneider, who set a new record for the most holes ever played in an Indian Trails Golf Marathon and the most holes ever played by a female marathoner. Another impressive accomplishment came from our CEO, Tyler Smies, who walked a full marathon while playing his Golf Marathon! 🙌🏽

It was awesome to see so many alumni, volunteers, coaches, staff members, parents, supporters, and community members out on the course playing. Every hole played & dollar raised helps open doors and create brighter futures for our students. Thank you for being part of it! ☀️

“I was once a participant in the First Tee and being introduced to the game of golf and the program has changed my life. I love to see the kids excel and find their passion just like I did 11 years ago.” ⭐️⛳️

Tomorrow, Maya will take part in our Golf Marathon at Indian Trails after first being introduced to the game through our program 11 years ago. Today, Maya competes at University of North Carolina at Pembroke and gives back as both a First Tee coach and Golf Marathoner, helping the next generation grow both on and off the course.
