We take Veteran and service dog teams into public places to practice navigating crowds, distractions, new environments, and everyday situations. These real-world experiences help teams build confidence, strengthen their partnership, and prepare for life together in the community.

Why do service dogs train in busy public places? 🐾

Because the real world is full of distractions. Crowds, shopping carts, other animals, loud noises, and unfamiliar environments all help prepare a service dog for the moments that matter most.

When a service dog is out with their handler, they're working. Public training helps them stay calm, focused, and ready to respond to their Veteran's needs, no matter what's happening around them.
