Floor Update: Halfway There (and It’s Beautiful!) - https://mailchi.mp/ac871b513a7a/floor-update-halfway-there-and-its-beautiful

We pulled up the floor at Clothes Cabin… and found this. 😬

Huge cracks in the slab and spots almost an inch out of level. Our crew needs extra time to grind, fill, and level before the new floor goes down, so we'll now reopen Monday, October 19. Until then, no services or donation drop-offs at the building.

Here's how you can help: every $7.77 buys one square foot of new floor. We're about 12% of the way to our goal, and if everyone who follows us gave something, no matter the size, we'd be done!

🚨 A FEW *STRONG* VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TOMORROW! 🚨

We could use a few extra helping hands at One Small Step tomorrow! 💙

If you have a few hours to spare and would like to make a difference in our community, we’d love to have you join us! We are in need of some extra hands to help us move some furniture out of the way for our flooring project and to move the flooring materials from pallets outside to inside the building.

🙌 Can you help? Check out the details and sign up here:

Every volunteer makes a difference, and we’d be so grateful for your help! ❤️

We need a few strong volunteers to help move the new flooring inside our building from the parking lot.

📢IMPORTANT NOTICE CLOSED October 5–9 📢

One Small Step will be CLOSED to install new flooring — no services, no donation drop-offs while crews are on-site.

For the past four years, settling and cracking have left parts of our building down to bare concrete — a real tripping hazard for our volunteers and the ~14,000 client visits we see every year. We finally found a crew ready to fix it right (and grind out the cracks for good), and it's happening now.

Huge thank you to Diamondback Service Pros, LLC for the amazing support on this project.

Want in? You can sponsor a square foot of our new floor for $7.77 — every bit funds this project and keeps our rainy-day fund where it belongs. www.onesmallstepaz.org

We reopen October 12, standing on solid ground. Thank you for your patience! 🛠️
