Meet Teresa Paz
Board Member Chandler Sister Cities
Fun facts:
Teresa Paz is a Venezuelan-American mother of two and an Industrial Engineer who is passionate about community, culture, and bringing people together. Her commitment to community involvement began when her children were in preschool. She started as a parent volunteer and later joined the school staff, working in the Arts program and helping develop a Spanish Enrichment Program.
As her children grew, Teresa continued to support her school community, serving as Vice President of the Seton Parents Association for two years and helping with the school’s annual Gala, its largest fundraising event.
Today, Teresa is a Business Developer for two Chandler-based companies in the HVAC and mortgage industries. She focuses on building meaningful relationships, connecting people and businesses, and creating opportunities for collaboration. She is also preparing to obtain her Mortgage Loan Originator license, with the goal of helping individuals and families achieve their dream of homeownership.
Teresa believes that strong communities are built through meaningful relationships, cultural understanding, and a willingness to help others. As a member of Chandler Sister Cities, she looks forward to connecting people, celebrating different cultures, and helping strengthen the relationships that make Chandler a welcoming and vibrant community.
From Teresa: “I’m passionate about supporting Chandler Sister Cities because it helps make Chandler a close-knit and vibrant community, where people can experience diversity, connect with local businesses, and build meaningful relationships across cultures. I love that we can create a strong local community while also making a global impact.”
