We were taking students to the farm and exploring the many career options in agriculture virtually with students in the District this past week. As part of a pilot program, we showed them how easy it to use VR technology to engage students in career learning!

We made the news! Well, our VR goggles did. We are excited to be participating in a Pilot Project with the Chandler Unified School District that allows us to use our VR resources to showcase the career opportunities available to students to work in and supporting agriculture. Stay tuned for more details about this cool partnership!

We are wrapping up one of our favorite seasons of the school year. FFA banquets are a time to celebrate the achievements of students, recognize industry connections and thank Ag teachers for all of their hardwork in and out of the classroom. This year we were able to hand out AZFB Industry Skills Certificates, celebrate a closing program, celebrate retiring teachers, catch up with old friends and help congratulate many well deserving students. We always look forward to going to banquets each year.

Today we had the opportunity to speak with all of the CUSD Elementary Career Awareness teachers about our resources. What a great group of nearly 50 teachers! Our prize winners were definitely excited to get some of fun items we brought for giveaways! We can't wait to continue building our relationships with more CUSD schools.
