Chicago is offering a discounted race fee of $60 for the first 30 eligible out-of-town racers who register for the September 12–13 race weekend.

To qualify for the discounted rate, the racer must:
-Be traveling from outside the Greater Chicago Soap Box Derby (GCSBD) area to compete that weekend.
-Not currently be a GCSBD racer and must not have previously raced as a GCSBD racer.
-Commit to competing in all 4 races during the September 12–13 race weekend.

Race fees must be received by Tuesday, September 8 to qualify for the discounted $60 rate.

Due to low car counts across all divisions, we regretfully inform Derby Nation that the Chicago May Rally has been cancelled. Volunteers will still be at the track on Saturday and Sunday for local families interested in learning more about the soap box derby and preparing for our Local race held on June 6th.
