GO Fresno works with families, educators, and community allies to win advocacy campaigns that promote equitable education systems and transformational public schools. GO Fresno envisions a day when all schools prepare every child regardless of skin color, family income, home language, or neighborhood to succeed in our rapidly evolving world. That means schools that prize knowledge, creativity, and habits of mind and heart to solve new problems in new ways – and that recognize we do not have a single child to lose.

GO joins communities across California in mourning Dolores Huerta, a labor and civil rights leader who dedicated her life to fighting for dignity, fairness, and justice.

Through decades of organizing, she helped people recognize their own power and use it together. Her work reminds us why families must have a voice in the decisions that shape their children’s schools and futures.

We honor her extraordinary life and the generations of organizers she taught and inspired. Our hearts are with her family, the Dolores Huerta Foundation, and the communities grieving her loss.

Fresno Unified students are making progress! 📚

For the fourth consecutive year, the percentage of students meeting or exceeding state standards increased in both English Language Arts and math. English language proficiency results also improved, with more English learners reaching Level 4 on the ELPAC.

These results offer an opportunity to celebrate growth and talk with your child’s teacher about their next steps. Swipe through the results, then start a conversation: What strengths can we build on? What is one learning goal we can work toward together?
