🎭✨ Another exciting milestone has been completed at UCP+ Central California! ✨🎭
Watch as the final touches are added to our brand-new indoor stage at our nearly 40,000-square-foot campus in Fresno. This beautiful new space will provide opportunities for music, performances, art, creative expression, special events, and so much more.
The indoor stage will be a place where our members can learn, grow, build confidence, share their talents, and continue unlocking potential. It will also serve as a welcoming gathering space where the community can come together to celebrate inclusion, creativity, and achievement.
Every completed project brings us one step closer to opening the doors to a facility designed to empower individuals with disabilities and create opportunities for generations to come.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support our vision and help make this dream a reality. We can't wait to share more progress with you soon!

Did you Know? June 19th is Juneteenth, a holiday commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States. It marks the day in 1865 when Union soldiers arrived in Galveston, Texas, and informed enslaved people of their freedom, which had been granted two years earlier by the Emancipation Proclamation. Juneteenth is celebrated with various events, including parades, festivals, and educational activities, and was officially recognized as a federal holiday in 2021.

Moments like these remind us how sports bring people together, creating opportunities to celebrate culture, friendship, and community. No matter the final score, we’re having a blast sharing in the excitement and making memories together.

Today, we celebrate Autistic Pride Day, a day dedicated to recognizing, honoring, and celebrating autistic individuals and the many unique ways they experience and contribute to the world.
➡️ First established in 2005 by autistic self-advocates, Autistic Pride Day promotes the understanding that autism is a natural part of human neurodiversity. It is a day that encourages acceptance, inclusion, self-advocacy, and the recognition of the strengths, talents, perspectives, and contributions of autistic people everywhere.
At UCP+ Central California, we believe every person deserves the opportunity to live, learn, create, work, and thrive in a community that values and respects who they are. Today, we celebrate the individuality, creativity, determination, and unique perspectives that autistic individuals bring to our programs, our communities, and our world.
🌈The rainbow infinity symbol often associated with Autistic Pride Day represents the infinite diversity, possibilities, and strengths found throughout the autistic community.
Let us continue building a world where autistic voices are heard, differences are embraced, and inclusion is more than a goal—it is a reality.

🍨 UCP+ members recently enjoyed a fun summer day trip to Superior Dairy in Hanford, California! Friends gathered together to enjoy delicious ice cream, share laughs, make memories, and spend time with one another in the community.
🍨 From giant scoops of ice cream to smiling faces all around, this special outing was filled with friendship, fun, and summer excitement.

🎨✨ UCP+ a Place Where Creativity Can Shine! ✨🎨
At UCP+ Central California, we know that every individual has unique talents, creativity, and gifts to share with the world. That's why we're so excited about our new UCP+ campus at 2044 E. Nees Ave., Fresno, CA 93720. We will be opening soon, and we are all excited for the opportunities this incredible new space will provide, including a place where our students can create, showcase, and even sell their artwork to the community.

From painting and pottery to a variety of artistic creations, our students continue to inspire us with their imagination, dedication, and talent. The new campus will provide dedicated spaces where artists can develop their skills, express themselves, and share their work with others.
We can't wait to see our students' artwork displayed throughout the campus and available for purchase, allowing them to gain confidence, build independence, and celebrate their creativity. 🌟🎨
