The Fresno Center proudly hosted its 6th Annual Dr. Tony Vang and Mayor Lee Brand Scholarship Luncheon this past Sunday on May 31st, celebrating the achievements and bright futures of our scholarship recipients. This incredible event brought together students, families, community leaders, and supporters to recognize academic excellence and encourage continued success in higher education. We were honored to award thirteen outstanding students with $1,000 scholarships to help support their educational goals and aspirations. The luncheon served as a meaningful reminder of the power of education, community investment, and perseverance. Congratulations to all of our recipients on this well-deserved achievement. Well done and continue striving for your very best as you pursue your dreams and make a positive impact in your communities.

We want to thank all the community members who came yesterday to our Community Care Closet in collaboration with The Fresno Center.

We are so glad to see our most vulnerable and marginalized communities are filling in our space and taking home the resources they need. The space will be open Monday through Wednesday from 3 PM to 5 PM. You and your family are welcome to come by and pick up any resources or clothes you need.

If those times don't work for you, just let us know and our Share the Love Program Coordinator will work with you the best way possible.

The Fresno Center's FREE Food Distribution occurs every fourth Monday of the month. Please note that the fourth Monday for the month of May is Memorial Day meaning our distribution day will be reschedule to Tuesday, May 26 from 3pm-5pm! Please be mindful of the warmer weather.

We at The Fresno Center want to thank you all for coming out and attending our Hmong American Day 2026. This event marks 51 years that commemorates the history, culture, and resilience of the Hmong people. Special thanks to our public officials and veterans for attending.

This wouldn't have been possible without all of the vendors and businesses and all of the performers, showcasing how we continue to embrace our culture and identity.

Thank you to our community for coming out and showing support during our Hmong American Day especially in the month of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month (AAPI).
