Ocean Monmouth Health Alliance is a chronic disease coalition (health care providers, public health professionals, caregivers, cancer survivors, volunteers & advocates in Ocean & Monmouth Counties) aiming to reduce the cancer burden in the region. The Ocean Monmouth Health Alliance received grant funding from the Office of Cancer Control and Prevention, which is under the Chronic Disease Prevention and Control Unit at the Division of Family Health Services – NJ Department of Health. Its mission is to prevent premature death and disability from chronic disease such as cancer, to understand the risk factors of chronic disease and to promote healthy behaviors.
