Here’s a quick recap of the TANJ Youth Arts Festival that we did in Asbury Park, NJ on October 18th! 🎨

From circus acts and open mics, to poetry readings and t-shirt designing, we had a wonderful day full of art activities for everyone! 🧑‍🎨

Arts High Class Highlight - Contemporary/Modern Dance

The Contemporary/Modern Dance class at Arts High educates students on fundamental practices of modern dance. Students work on technique, choreography, movement, conditioning, expression, and more to enhance their dance skills.

The contemporary/modern dance class is available for Middlesex County students in grades 6-12.

Arts High Class Highlight - Vocal Music & Vocal Music Broadway

The Vocal Music class focuses on enhancing students vocal ability. Students learn proper breathing and vocal techniques while discovering their unique vocal style. The class also emphasizes building confidence and teaching students how to perform on stage.

Grades 6-8 - Vocal Music
Grades 9-12 - Vocal Music Broadway

Apply to audition for the Arts High program on teenartsnj.org (link in bio 🔗) Applications are due by November 15th!

The program runs in Middlesex & Monmouth County. Open to students in grades 6-12.

THIS SUNDAY OCTOBER 18th is the TANJ YOUTH ARTS FESTIVAL 🥳

We are wrapping up our arts initiative with a free art festival 🎨 after 7 months of hosting pop ups at your favorite Asbury Park locations! 🧑‍🎨🫶

The TANJ Youth Arts Festival will be at 4 locations:

🖼️🧑‍🎨 Select Artworks from the 2026 NJSTAF Traveling Exhibit - these artworks, chosen by visual arts adjudicators from each county, travel all throughout New Jersey! Now they’re making a stop in Asbury Park for the TANJ Youth Arts Festival!
🎨🎥 Richie Brown’s Novelty Generator - an immersive audiovisual art installation that invites viewers to make their own video using the custom made instruments and props in the space!

Super Art Fight is honored to be a part of the Teen Arts NJ Youth Arts Festival, taking place on Sunday, October 18th at the historic Asbury Park, NJ.

It will be a full day of celebrating New Jersey’s best up-and-coming young artists. Meanwhile we are bringing some classic Super Art Fight action starting at 1pm, featuring three matches in a winner-take-all bracket!

🚨 TW: FAKE WOUNDS AND BLOOD. 🩸
I’ve been busy preparing for my Zombie FX Makeup workshop with the Teen Arts NJ Youth Festival this weekend!
🧟
Come check out my workshop table at the event and learn how to easily DIY your own zombie wound prosthetics using a few common household ingredients. There will be plenty of pre-made pieces available at the table to practice with, and I’ll be sending all participants home with a kit to make their own customized prosthetic pieces. (PS: If you think about it, this is a pretty free and easy way to get a head start on this year’s Halloween costume! Just saying…)
