We are honored to announce that Jill Alexander from Wall High School is our 2026 Art Educator of the Year! 🎨🍎

We held an award ceremony for Jill at the 2026 New Jersey State Teen Arts Festival on June 3rd. Many of Jill’s students attended the NJSTAF and came to support her! It was easy to tell the kind of impact she had on her art students, the room was filled with so much love for Jill! 💛

We present this award to one exceptional individual each year - someone who does the work to go above and beyond in their classrooms. We appreciate all that our art educators do for their students - they would not be where they are without you. 👏

Jill was nominated by her school principal Kevin Davis for this award. 🏆 Thank you to everyone who nominated their teachers for this award. 🧑‍🎨🧑‍🏫

WOW! What an amazing 3 days we had at the 2026 NJ State Teen Arts Festival! 🎉

There was so much to see from beautiful artwork to insane performances! I think it’s safe to say we have some TALENTED teen artists here in New Jersey- and that’s something to celebrate! 👏

Thank you to all of the wonderful students who participated in the festival, we know how hard you worked on your art/writing/performances. ✨ Thank you to all of the art educators that guide your students year after year to achieve greatness. 🍎

We had a great time visiting for the Annual Art Show 🎨 this past Friday!

School principal - Dr. Perry Medina & Art teacher - Jill Rosker hosted this wonderful event showcasing Asbury Park elementary, middle, high school students’ artwork.

There was so much creativity in the room, it’s so inspiring to see these students shine! ✨

This is our last batch of nominees for the 2026 Art Educator of the Year award! 🍎

Thank you to our art educators who put in so much effort and care in their classrooms and students! Our teen artists would not be where they are today without you! 🧑‍🏫🧑‍🎨 These educators were nominated by their school principals, vice principals, superintendents, department supervisors and more for their outstanding work!

The 2026 Art Educator of the Year will be awarded on June 3rd at the NJ State Teen Arts Festival at Middlesex College. 🏆
