🌲🔥5/29-5/31, Unit 305 enjoyed a special Crossover Camping Trip at Camp Glen Gray filled with adventure, learning, and fellowship. 🔥🌲

Our Scouts spent the day exploring the outdoors with a beautiful hike, exciting fishing, teamwork challenges, first aid activities, and plenty of time building friendships around camp. The highlight of the weekend was our evening campfire ceremony, where four Arrow of Light Cub Scouts crossed over from the Pack to Troop 305, earning the highest award in Cub Scouting. It was a meaningful moment celebrating their hard work, growth, and next step in the Scouting journey.

We ended the night with campfire desserts and fellowship within our respective groups, making memories that will last for years to come. Congratulations to our newest Troop 305 Scouts — we’re excited for the adventures ahead! ⚜️👏

Unit 305 had a busy and meaningful Memorial Day weekend centered on citizenship, reverence, and service. 🇺🇸

Our Scouts proudly participated in Thursday’s Memorial Day Parade, showing respect for our nation and gratitude for those who served. On Sunday, Scouts traveled to Arlington Cemetery in Kearny to place flags at veterans’ graves, honoring the sacrifices of our nation’s heroes. Thank you to all of our Scout families for persevering and showing up through the downpour to honor our veterans on Sunday. We are proud of our Unit 305 families for always answering the call to serve — no matter the weather!

The weekend events concluded this evening at St. Stephen’s Church where Scouts respectfully retired worn American flags in a dignified flag retirement ceremony, continuing the tradition of honoring our nation and its colors with the utmost respect.

Thank you to all of our Scouts and their families for giving their time in service to others and for continuing to honor the brave men and women who sacrificed for our freedoms. 🇺🇸 Your dedication, service, and commitment to remembering those who sacrificed for our freedoms truly reflects the spirit of Scouting!

History came to life for our Pack 305 Cub Scouts during an incredible adventure at the Jockey Hollow in Morristown National Historical Park! 🇺🇸🥾

Our Cub Scouts spent the day exploring the historic grounds, learning about the hardships endured by George Washington’s troops during the Revolutionary War, and working toward becoming Junior Rangers. The highlight of the day was completing the challenging 5.5-mile Cub Scout Historic Hike! 💪🏕️

We are so proud of our Cubs for their perseverance, teamwork, curiosity, and positive attitudes throughout the hike. Experiences like these help bring history to life while building confidence, resilience, and lifelong memories.

A big thank you to our leaders and families for supporting another amazing Pack 305 adventure! 💙💛

What an amazing day for our Pack 305 Scouts at Alpine Scout Camp! 🏹🎯🧗‍♂️

Our Scouts enjoyed an action-packed activity day filled with archery, BB guns, climbing adventures, great food, and even better fellowship with our Unit 305 family. From trying new skills to cheering each other on, the day was full of smiles, laughter, teamwork, and unforgettable memories.

A huge thank you to our leaders, volunteers, and families who helped make this awesome experience possible. Days like these are what Scouting is all about—building confidence, friendships, and lifelong memories while empowering youth to make a positive contribution to society. 💙💛

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers and moms out there, and a very special Happy Mother’s Day to the moms who are leaders with Unit 305!

Without your help and the time you volunteer every week and at every weekend activity, the Unit 305 program would not be able to function. Your dedication, support, and commitment help make our program successful and give our Scouts so many great opportunities.

Again, thank you for everything you do for Unit 305, and thank you to all of our Scouts’ mothers for your continued support.
