Supporting teens in or aging out of foster care.

We are dedicated to breaking the cycle of repetitive trauma experienced by teenagers in foster care due to multiple placements and plugging the gap of services needed for youth to thrive into adulthood.

None of what we do happens without the people who choose to show up for our mission.

From the people who give, volunteer, advocate, partner with us, and cheer on our youth, there are so many people behind the work we get to do every day.

September Sunday Dinner was a fun one! 🍂

We headed to the Nashville Fall Festival for an evening at the pumpkin patch, playing games, and spending plenty of time together.

We’re always grateful for these opportunities to get our youth together, have some fun, and make memories!

Birthdays are a big deal, and we love getting to make them a little extra special for our youth. 🎂

We’re so grateful for our partnership with For Goodness Cakes, who help us celebrate our young people with a birthday cake made just for them.

It’s a simple thing, but having someone remember your birthday and make sure you get to celebrate it matters.

There’s no better way to understand what young people need than to listen to young people themselves.

We were proud to have youth from Jonathan’s Path take the stage at the Nashville Adolescent Symposium for the Youth Experiences Panel, sharing their perspectives and experiences with a room full of people committed to supporting adolescents and young adults.

Thank you to for creating space for these voices and bringing our community together around the young people we serve.

We’re excited to be one of the beneficiaries of A Vintage Affair’s final event of the year, the 16th Annual Grape Stomp Festival! 🍇

Join us Saturday, October 10 from 4–7 PM at the new Franklin Bicentennial Park for a fun evening supporting local nonprofits, including Jonathan’s Path.

The festival will feature 20+ w**e varietals, a new Oktoberfest-style B**r Garden, the classic Stomp Competition, food from seven local restaurants, signature cocktails, football, a w**e pull, co****le, and more. This is a 21+ event, and tickets are $75.

🍇 Want to participate in the Stomp Competition? Organizations that form a team can have their team fee waived by Jonathan’s Path. We’re also helping recruit paid teams to participate in this year’s competition.

There’s so much more to a young person than the circumstances that brought them to us.

Over time, we get to know their personalities, their interests, their goals, and all the little things that make them who they are. And getting to watch a young person become more comfortable, open up, and start believing in themselves is pretty special.

That’s one of our favorite parts of this work. Getting to know the person, not just the story.

There’s something empowering about having a place that’s yours.

At The JP Path Home, each young person has their own room, a comfortable space to settle in, unpack their things, and feel at home.

And unlike traditional foster care, turning 18 doesn’t automatically mean it’s time to pack up and leave. The Path Home is designed around readiness, giving youth the stability to stay put while they build confidence, relationships, and the skills they need for what comes next.

Because sometimes, having a place to stay is what makes it possible to start building everything else.
