We are dedicated to breaking the cycle of repetitive trauma experienced by teenagers in foster care due to multiple placements and plugging the gap of services needed for youth to thrive into adulthood.

We’re excited to welcome Shelby Brown to Jonathan’s Path as our Program Coordinator!

Shelby brings years of experience working alongside children, youth, and families in foster care, adoption, and residential care settings. Through roles as a trainer, case manager, counselor, mentor, and friend, she has seen firsthand the impact that consistent support and meaningful relationships can have in a young person’s life. We’re excited for the relationships, support, and impact Shelby will bring to our youth and community!

A few moments from the Danny Townsend Memorial Classic Golf Tournament ⛳️

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who showed up, sponsored, volunteered, and supported this event in honor of Danny Townsend’s legacy and in support of Jonathan’s Path.

Because of this community, $100,000 was raised to help us continue supporting youth in foster care and those transitioning into adulthood. Thank you for making this day so meaningful and impactful.

We’re excited to share that our Program Director, Juleesia Santiago-Karim, is featured as a Fresh Face of Philanthropy on the cover of NFocus Magazine’s June issue.

Juleesia’s leadership and passion for supporting youth aging out of foster care are rooted in both lived experience and years of walking alongside young people through life’s hardest moments. Her heart for this work is reflected in everything she does at Jonathan’s Path.

We are honored to share that the Tennessee General Assembly approved a $500,000 investment in Jonathan’s Path to support the launch and expansion of our progressive housing model for youth in foster care and young adults transitioning out of care.

This funding will help establish Tennessee’s first readiness-based residential home specifically designed for foster youth at risk of aging out without stable housing or long-term support.

We are incredibly grateful to Senate Majority Leader Jack Johnson, Representative Jeremy Faison, the Tennessee General Assembly, legislative leadership, and the finance committees for supporting this investment in Tennessee youth.

We’re excited to welcome Karissa to Jonathan’s Path as our new Development Director!

Karissa brings a strong background in nonprofit development and a passion for building meaningful relationships that drive impact. She will lead our fundraising efforts, helping grow the community of supporters who make it possible for us to continue showing up for youth in foster care and those aging out.

Through her work, Karissa will play a key role in expanding the support behind our mission and strengthening the partnerships that move our work forward.
