Every generation leaves its mark on The Franklin Band.

This Homecoming, we’re bringing some of those generations back together.

Franklin Band alumni are invited to join our current members October 2 for rehearsal, dinner, the parade, and a halftime performance.

Next up in our Songwriter Showcase artist series is Carter Windham!

Originally from Bossier City, Louisiana, and now based in Nashville, Carter blends southern grit with heartfelt storytelling. Inspired by artists like Eric Church, Chris Stapleton, and Turnpike Troubadours, he released his first single, “How I Remember You,” in 2025 and is currently finishing his debut EP.

Hear Carter live at The Franklin Band Songwriter Showcase & Silent Auction on Saturday, August 8, at the FSD Performing Arts Center.

Doors open at 6:00 PM. The showcase begins at 7:00 PM.

We’re kicking off our Songwriter Showcase artist series, and first up is Ben Kadlecek!

Raised in the Texas Hill Country, Ben blends piano, guitar, and a wide range of musical influences into a sound all his own. His song “Amen” topped multiple Christian Country and Indie-Country charts in 2022.
