Brightpoint Utility Assistance, also known as the Energy Assistance Program (EAP), is now open for the season! Applying is easy and can be completed online.

Utility Assistance is available through Brightpoint for households in Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Huntington, LaGrange, Noble, Steuben, Wells, and Whitley counties. Don’t live in our service area? You can find your local provider via the application link on our website.

Brightpoint had so much fun participating in the DeKalb County Fair Grand Finale Parade on Saturday! 🎉

We’re excited to share that our float won second place in Class A! 🏆 The float featured scenes inspired by Brightpoint Head Start’s Frog Street curriculum. It was so great having families and friends join in on the fun.

Thank you to the DeKalb County Free Fall Fair for hosting another great parade!

That's why we're working together to connect individuals and families with resources that may help. Through Brightpoint's Energy Assistance Program and Indiana Michigan Power's customer assistance options, support may be available for those facing challenges with energy costs.

No one should have to navigate these situations alone. We're committed to helping connect our communities with programs and resources that can make a difference.

October is Energy Awareness Month! 💡

For families struggling with high energy costs, a little extra breathing room can make a big difference. Brightpoint’s Weatherization, Utility Assistance, and Emergency Repair and Replace programs help lower energy costs so families can better afford other necessities like food, medicine, and safe, reliable housing.

Throughout October, we’ll highlight these programs, the difference they make, and how to access services.

P.S. Utility Assistance (a.k.a. Energy Assistance Program or EAP) is now open for the season. Weatherization services are available year-round.
