As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we rely entirely on the generosity of donors like you to care for our horses, some of whom are rescued, and provide them a home filled with love and care. As children visit the Ranch and take part in barn chores, they learn about horse anatomy, horse health, care and safety. More importantly, they learn life skills, compassion for animals and the value of teamwork.

In horses and in life, it's a saying we take to heart: Always be learning. Did you know that we provide expert horsemanship training for free to our volunteers? In fact, many of our volunteers started with little to no horse experience, but are now some of our best leaders! And we never use our experience and training to put ourselves above someone else...because we're always learning.

An awesome workday today with the fine folks from Ferguson Advertising! Their team knocked out a number of tasks, including re-lining our lean-to with a bed of fresh river rock and sand from Hixson Sand and Gravel to make a clean, dry place for our horses. Thank you and yee haw to all who participated! It was fun!

Kids aren't allergic to work...in fact, when they're shown the value of their work and the pride that comes from doing worthwhile tasks, they respond. At Dare to Dream Youth Ranch, children come from all backgrounds and abilities, and our volunteers show them how they can make a difference in a horse's quality of life. Their reward? Getting to ride these magnificent creatures and build confidence even further. Dream Bigger.

It's the fire inside of a child that we seek to kindle. To inspire the courage to try new things and be hungry for what their future holds. It's the reason our volunteers receive continual training, and the reason why we offer all our programs. Because we know that a child with a hunger to learn is the foundation for a lifetime of achievement. Dream Bigger.
