As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we rely entirely on the generosity of donors like you to care for our horses, some of whom are rescued, and provide them a home filled with love and care. As children visit the Ranch and take part in barn chores, they learn about horse anatomy, horse health, care and safety. More importantly, they learn life skills, compassion for animals and the value of teamwork.

An amazing Day of Caring with United Way of Allen County and employees of Fill-Rite and UPS! They cleaned, cleared, fixed and more. A new pressure tank for the well, new fencing and all kinds of upkeep and repairs. A HUGE thank you to all who participated in supporting our cause. -Rite

It's almost here! This Friday, the 2026 Allen County United Way Day of Caring will bring dozens of volunteers from Fill-Rite and UPS to clean, build and beautify our ranch. It's gonna be great!

Kids aren't allergic to work...in fact, when they're shown the value of their work and the pride that comes from doing worthwhile tasks, they respond. At Dare to Dream Youth Ranch, children come from all backgrounds and abilities, and our volunteers show them how they can make a difference in a horse's quality of life. Their reward? Getting to ride these magnificent creatures and build confidence even further. Dream Bigger.

It's the fire inside of a child that we seek to kindle. To inspire the courage to try new things and be hungry for what their future holds. It's the reason our volunteers receive continual training, and the reason why we offer all our programs. Because we know that a child with a hunger to learn is the foundation for a lifetime of achievement. Dream Bigger.

Great News!
Effective June, 5 2026, our very own Jewelia Brindel has been promoted to the role of Director of Operations. This promotion is part of our strategic plan to deepen and grow in our Mission, and Jewelia has shown she is skilled and ready for the task. This move will enable Ranch leadership to focus on other important tasks in pursuit of our Mission. Thank you for supporting the Ranch, as we consider our work a privilege to help kids to Dream Bigger.

250 Years of declaring our freedom, and horses have been with us every step of the way. Today, our horses help our children to declare their independence and teach them the values of courage and confidence as they rise up to the challenge.
