Shaheedi (martyrdom) of the highly revered Sikh General, Dhan Baba Banda Singh Bahadur. ⚔️

Recreated this while watching: Chaar Sahibzaade 2: Rise Of Banda Singh Bahadur that showed the strength of both Baba Banda Singh Bahadur and his 4 year old son.

Ajai when asked if he was afraid to die told his father “I do not know of fear as nor did Chhote Sahibzaade, Zorawar Singh and Fateh Singh.” & his father held him one last time and kissed his red dastar.

Today we commemorate the day the 4 year old son Ajai Singh, and 40 other Sikhs were tortured mercilessly to death

Meet Louis Singh Khalsa Louis Singh 23-year-old in New Zealand who has embraced Sikhism
and has now joined the New Zealand Army. He was born and bred in Timaru, a town in Canterbury & studied at Christ College, Christchurch.
A few years back, Louis met a Sikh guy at one of his friend's place, he asked him about Sikhism and he advised him to visit Gurdwara Jagat Guru Nanak Sahib in Christchurch. When Louis went there, he felt a peace of mind and a different level of calm. Louis then made it a routine to visit
Gurdwara Sahib every week where he met different people and he always used to ask questions about Sikh history, he found the history very interesting and inspiring. Louis then decided to explore more about the punjabi culture and went to Punjab. He spent his time with a Sikh family and
get baptized at Sri Kesgarh Sahib, Anandpur Sahib. Louis started learning Gurmukhi and reciting bani and then he visited Darbar Sahib where he practised Punjabi by reading signboards on the streets. Later, when he returned to New
Zealand he learned to play tabla and kirtan.
On july 4, 2020 during the passing out parade for 63 new inductees in the New Zealand army, Louis caught everyone's attention by his dignified looks - wearing a green turban with
light blue twinkling eyes, glowing face and a light brown beard. Louis has traveled more than 25 countries to visit and explore the Gurdwara sahib. It's just the start of career for him and passing the army's initial training was his biggest
achievement. Louis main focus is to perfect his training in the military, to deploy on operations and to learn punjabi, hindi and other languages perfectly! We're wishing him All the best for
future endeavours.
