Miss Virginia's Food Pantry

Meet Kam Kumari, Banking Center Manager for WesBanco Bank on Illinois Road, who took time out of her busy schedule to stop by today with a generous donation of canned goods from the bank. Gifts like this go a long way in helping those in need in our community. Thanks, WesBanco, for your support and commitment to making a positive impact! We look forward to continuing to work with you and exploring ways to make a difference together!

Volunteers are the heart of Miss Virginia's.
The organization recently celebrated their annual Volunteer
Appreciation Dinner at Promenade Park with a raffle for some lucky winners. Gratitude to all the wonderful sponsors of this years raffle.

Generous Donors are how this place is able to help so many. Thank you to all of those who drop off produce and extras for our guests.

Welcome to the newest member of our growing community of composters. They've started composting the food that spoils before it can be distributed — keeping it out of the landfill, where it would break down into methane, and turning it into soil instead.

We're grateful for the organizations in our area that feed food-insecure neighbors and have decided that taking care of people also means taking care of the environment we share.

Composting is public healthcare!

It took a bunch of volunteers participating in the Local Food Week event at Miss Virginia’s to host garden and pantry tours on July 29 from 12:30 to 2 pm. Visitors left with shared produce and tons of info. Thank you to all who made this event a success.
