The Project
The Pontiac Street Market has announced its third Pack 2 School on Pontiac Street event on August 1, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 918 E Pontiac St. The community event is designed to help families prepare for the upcoming school year.
Pack to School offers the following FREE items and services on a first-come, first-serve basis:
• FREE Haircuts and Braiding services
• FREE food, snacks, and beverages
• Bounce Houses and games
• LIVE music to keep the atmosphere lively
• Community resources, vendors, and wraparound services
To take advantage of all that Pack to School offers, registration is required before the event. Onsite registration will be limited.Parents or guardians can find the registration below. Once at the event, adults will need to sign up for a free PS Perks membership, an exclusive loyalty program that brings additional benefits and savings to valued customers.
In partnership with Parkview Health and Ronald McDonald Care Mobile will be providing the youth free sports physical and required school immunizations. Additional sponsors include Anthem Blue Cross, the City of Fort Wayne, iLLUMEDIA, Parkview Health, SEED Fort Wayne and Tunnel Vision Promotions, MidWest Credit Union, Didier Meats, Piazza Produce, Kemps, Frito Lay, Pepsi, Hagerman, Coca- Cola. Putt Putt Fun Center.

The Victory House for women is an incredible program. Pastor Patti and her program has changed my life forever. When I first got to the victory House I was a broken woman and with the support, structure, and stability that I was given I was able to rebuild my life. I can't express enough how Patti goes above and beyond for women like me. She truly cares about women trying to recover, reconnect with family, and relearn how to function normally in society. I am one of the most recent graduates of the program. I have a full time job, strong in my recovery, and now home with my family, raising my three girls all with full confidence in myself. The encouragement, faith, and strength provided by Patti and her staff has lead me to success!! I highly suggest this program to any woman trying to rebuild their life and is serious about their recovery. Thank you pastor Patti.... You have made an impression on my life I'll never forget.
