✨ Maggie didn’t do anything wrong… her family just changed. 💔

One day she had a home. Then life happened. A divorce changed everything, and now this sweet girl is waiting for someone to choose her forever.

Meet Maggie! 🩷

🐾 47 pounds of snuggles, wiggles, and personality
🐾 Housebroken ✅
🐾 Crate trained ✅
🐾 Loves people and kids ❤️
🐾 Playful, goofy, and always ready to make you laugh
🐾 Walks politely past calm dogs without reacting
🐾 Would prefer to be the only pet while we continue evaluating her with other dogs

Look at this little cutie!

Luigi is new to us but will be on our website by the end of the day.

We estimate that he is maybe 2 years old and likely a Jack Russell mixed with Dachshund.

He does well in his kennel, not destructive, goes potty outside, and is just a little lover! Definitely a lap dog.

He was found as a stray in LaBelle and never claimed.

He's overall healthy, just needs some dewormer and to be neutered and he'll be good as new!

We could always use donations towards our medical bills. If you'd like to donate please visit our website or send us a message and we can have your donation go directly to our vet.

We are taking applications at this time for Luigi but still learning about him so please be patient with us.

Celebrating DHRA alumni ⭐️SMOKEY⭐️!

SMOKEY was owner surrendered after his previous household, admitted that they weren’t exactly sure how to manage his breed tendencies. This resulted in a provoked fear bite.

The Hansel family fell in love with him immediately, and wr knew that they were the perfect fit!

His dad Eric got him into K9 Search & Rescue! What an amazing evolution Smokey has experienced, all thanks to the Hansell family who adopted him a few years ago 💗💗💗

Smokey might be called to the next search & rescue in your neighborhood! And we know he will do an awesome job! 

Every search dog starts somewhere.

Some begin with natural confidence.
Some begin with endless drive.
Some begin with a long list of things they still need to learn.

What matters isn’t where a dog starts—it’s the commitment to showing up, putting in the work, and continuing to learn together.

Search and Rescue is built on a foundation of education, patience, consistency, and growth. Every experienced handler, every certified dog, and every successful team once stood exactly where all new teams begin: at the start.

We’re proud of every volunteer who is willing to step outside their comfort zone, learn something new, and invest in the journey.

Because progress doesn’t happen overnight.

It happens one training day at a time. 🐾
