As we celebrate 250 years of America, we’re grateful for the freedoms we’ve been given, and even more grateful for the God who never changes.

Our prayer is that our nation would continue to seek wisdom, extend grace, and build strong families rooted in faith.

Because healthy homes create healthy communities, and lasting change begins around the kitchen table, in living rooms, and in hearts surrendered to God.

Today, we celebrate the blessings of liberty, the gift of family, and the hope found in Christ.

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.” — Psalm 33:12

Happy 250th, America! 🇺🇸

Relate Well. Live Well.
It all starts at home.

To the ones celebrating, remembering, grieving, longing, and navigating complicated feelings today—Happy Father’s Day.

For some, today is filled with laughter, backyard cookouts, and gratitude for a father who showed up with love and consistency.

For others, today carries an ache.

You may be missing your dad.
You may be grieving a relationship that was never what you hoped it would be.
You may be celebrating your husband as a father while quietly carrying your own loss.
You may be a dad doing your best and wondering if it’s enough.
You may be longing to become a parent.
Or you may be holding both gratitude and grief at the same time.

Wherever this day finds you, know this:

Your story matters.
Your feelings are valid.
And you don’t have to force today into a celebration if it feels more like a remembrance.

We honor the fathers who loved well.
We extend grace to those still healing.
We remember those no longer with us.
And we celebrate the men who continue to show up, love deeply, and leave a legacy through everyday moments.

Today, may you find space for both joy and honesty.

❤️ Happy Father’s Day. Wherever your heart is today, you are seen.

Why do some people pursue while others pull away?

The answer may be found in your attachment style.

In our new How to Love Well small group curriculum, couples learn how attachment patterns impact communication, conflict, emotional connection, and intimacy.

Most communication problems aren’t actually about the words being spoken.

They’re about the deeper needs, fears, hurts, and hopes underneath them.

When someone says, “You never help,” they may be asking, “Can I count on you?”

When someone says, “You don’t listen,” they may be asking, “Do I matter to you?”

Healthy communication happens when we learn to hear what is being said beneath the words.

Before defending yourself, fixing the problem, or proving your point, try asking:

“What are you really trying to tell me?”

Because communication isn’t about winning.
It’s about understanding.

❤️ Love Well Tip: Listen for the need beneath the words.

There are people that have a way of leaving a lasting impact, and this couple is certainly among them.
Their encouragement, friendship, wisdom, and unwavering support have meant so much to our ministry over the years. We are incredibly grateful for the way they invest in others and faithfully serve God’s Kingdom.
It was such a joy to spend time together at SBC 2026. Thankful for relationships that encourage, strengthen, and remind us that we’re never walking this journey alone.
We appreciate you both more than you know. ❤️
