Weekend Airfield Closures:
The Airfield will be closed to general flying on Saturday for a private fly-in event followed by a NOTAM/TFR that will shut down the field beginning at 6:30 pm Saturday night through 8:30 pm Sunday Night.
The airfield will reopen at dawn on Monday.
(Sunday's weather forecast says 85% chance of rain, so the TFR may not be much of a loss anyway)
As always, the Control Line Circle is not affected by TFRs.

The airfield will be closed tomorrow, Sunday.
Flying may resume on Monday morning.

Field closure announcement:
The airfield will be closed to regular flying and all use this Friday through Sunday due to the Q40 Pylon Race. Pilots from around the country will be descending on Markham Park. Best wishes and good luck to all of them.

Good evening all. Check your email for a message sent by the AMA to it's members for an FAA TFR NOTAM.
The airfield at Markham falls within the TFR.
The airfield will be closed on Saturday until 12:30 PM and then close again Saturday evening at 6:45pm.
It will remain closed through Monday evening.
NO flying on Saturday morning or at any time on Sunday or Monday.
