Parent Success at Alpha Center includes opportunities for moms, dads, and families. We seek to engage, encourage, and equip parents to nurture their families. Did you know we offer one-on-one mentorship for both moms and dads? Mentorship for moms covers pregnancy and postpartum care for mom and baby. Personal classes begin in the second trimester and meet 6 times. Mentorship for dads is more infor

mal. These personal meetings may begin during pregnancy or postpartum and meet 4 - 5 times. In addition, we offer group meetings. The majority of our monthly Successful Families meetings are appropriate for singles, couples, and child caregivers
Class topics will cover pregnancy through toddler years. We meet on the second Tuesday of each month from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. Snacks and childcare will be provided. Like our FB page to stay up to date on class topics! For questions or more information please message us or text 970-614-4078.

Sending kids back to school isn't always as glamourous as we picture. 🥴

The reality is often navigating new schedules, a hurried first-day-of school picture as you run out the door (ask how we know😅) after-school activities, pick-up and drop-off times, back to school shopping, packing lunches, school orientations, car lines, and the list goes on.

Take a breath, grab an extra shot of espresso, and you'll be back in the flow before you know it! You've got this, and so does your kiddo!

Just a reminder that if your relationship has been more tense since having kids, you're not alone!

Roughly 2/3 of all couples experience a decline in relationship satisfaction in the first 3 years after bringing a baby home.

It isn't easy to navigate a relationship while also learning to parent. If you're looking for resources to help, consider couples counseling at the Alpha Center! Alpha Center offers up to 6 counseling sessions for FREE.

We also have a monthly class that you can take together to help you connect and get on the same page about parenting. Our next Parent Success Together class is on September 14th!

We had so much fun and gained so much knowledge from Sleeper Teachers - Becka Payne on best sleep practices for infants and children!

Today is National Sons and Daughters Day!

This day started when a little boy from Missouri asked why parents had their own celebratory days but children did not! So here's an excuse to celebrate your son or daughter a little extra today : Share a meal, go on a walk, and tell them why you love them and are proud of them!

While kids don't need a new thing, they always love encouragement. In honor of today, tell your child something that you love about them or read an extra book at bedtime.
