Currently meeting online during the pandemic. Watch for event information prior to each monthly meeting on the second Monday of each month. In addition to parents, families, friends, and GLBT people, we welcome anyone involved in the coming-out process. We welcome anyone who supports the PFLAG mission of SUPPORT, EDUCATION and ADVOCACY for GLBT people.

Anne Arundel County Public Schools in Maryland appears to be instituting a policy of forcing teachers to deadname some transgender kids who do not have accepting parents.

Teachers say they won't comply with the directive.

21 states, led by Attorney General Bonta, are suing the federal government to block a medicaid ban for those under 19 from taking effect.

The new rule is slated to go into effect in six weeks.

The deadline for our National School Climate Survey has been extended to September 30!

If you’re LGBTQIA2S+ and 13+ and attended grades K-12 in the U.S. during the 2025–26 school year, there is still time to share your experience in schools before the survey closes.

Responses are anonymous and help us advocate for safer and more affirming schools.

If you’re an adult or ineligible for the survey, share this post with someone who is. Tag someone in the comments who you think could help improve schools for LGBTQIA+ youth!
