A huge shoutout to our incredible Folly Beach Public Safety team for their lightning-fast response to the recent water safety concerns. Their willingness to jump into action and work alongside the community is exactly what makes Folly so special.

We also want to recognize every single person who stepped up this week to attend our lifesaving water rescue training. Learning these skills could one day save a life, and that’s something to be incredibly proud of.

This is a big step toward making Folly Beach an even safer place for both our community and our visitors.

Missed the first class? Good news! Folly Beach Public Safety is already working on scheduling an evening session for those who couldn’t make it. We’ll share details as soon as they’re become available.

Together, we’re building a stronger, safer Folly. 🌊💙
