The Bishopville-Manning-Shaw AFB (SC) Alumni Chapter Kappa League monthly meetings are an opportunity for our young men to connect, grow, and continue developing the skills needed to become tomorrow’s leaders.

Each meeting will focus on areas such as leadership development, academic achievement, career readiness, community service, brotherhood, and personal growth.

We encourage all Kappa Leaguers to attend consistently, participate, and take full advantage of everything the program has to offer.

Three days in, and the BMS Kappa Leaguers are still showing what leadership, discipline, and excellence look like.

Representing our chapter with pride at the National Kappa League Conference, these young men continue to learn, grow, and build relationships with future leaders from across the country. Every session, every conversation, and every experience is preparing them for what’s next.

The future is in good hands, and we’re proud to invest in it.

June is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month

As young men, we are often taught to be strong, tough, and resilient. While those qualities matter, true strength also means knowing when to speak up, ask for help, and take care of your mental well-being.

At BMS Kappa League, we want every young man to know:

✅ It’s okay to not be okay.
✅ Your feelings are valid.
✅ Asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.
✅ You are never alone in your journey.

Mental health affects how we think, feel, learn, lead, and connect with others. This month, let’s break the stigma, encourage meaningful conversations, and support one another as brothers, mentors, sons, and future leaders.

Remember: Strong minds build strong men, and strong men build stronger communities.
