Kids Apron Workshop Series!

Start July in style, with a great skill building project your little one is sure to love! Learn to work with and modify a pattern, build cutting and machine sewing skills, and leave with a custom apron! The apron is designed to be double sided or reversible, and includes a nice, big, handy patch pocket. This class is great for beginners and experienced young sewists alike. All materials and tools are included! This class includes an introduction to using the sewing machines, so even if you have been to our shop before, you'll get a chance to practice.

Recommended for ages 8+
Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday July 1st, 2nd, and 3rd

Dog Bandana Workshop!

Come learn a new skill and make your best bud a bandana! You will get to pick out your size and colors. We will put a heart on one side, because we know you love your pooch, and we'll leave the other side blank, so your pup can have their bandana plain or with a punch!

This beginner class will teach you sewing machine basics, how to cut out shapes from fabric, sew straight lines and curves, and how to press with an iron. All materials are included, so you can use our stash of fabric and thread. Sewing machines are provided. Feel free to bring your own machine as well.

Step into the studio, and you’re met with an opportunity to experience something powerful: your own ability.

This Flagstaff nonprofit, founded in 2019, is committed to proving that textile arts are more than a hobby; they are a vital path to empowerment and an avenue to reconnect with our innate creative gifts.

Recently, Threaded Together chose to amplify its mission by assuming responsibility for presenting the annual Flag Wool & Fiber Festival. This is Arizona’s largest celebration of fiber arts, bringing together producers, artisans, indigenous traditions, and even "delightfully silly" camels.

Flag Wool and Fiber

Momentum Aerial will be hosting the 3rd Annual Pollinator Parade and Aerial Show downtown, at Heritage Square on First Friday, June 5th at 5pm. Funded through Art X, this is a free event!

This is a community costume parade, so community members are invited to dress up as flowers, butterflies, bees, or any of your favorite pollinators. This short and sweet community parade will wind through the pedestrian mall by Rainbow's End, and conclude back at Heritage Square. (See the attached map for the parade route). Aspen Ave will be closed for First Friday, making this event more family friendly and pedestrian friendly for all!

Following the parade, there will be a free aerial performance on Heritage Square, featuring special guest Ballet Folkloriko, who will also perform. This is a family friendly event, and we hope you'll join us!

Monster Pillow 2 Part Youth Workshop!

A perfect companion for story time or movie nights, this throw-sized pillow has a pocket for stashing snacks or books, and wears a smile that's anything but scary!

This class is great for beginners and experienced young sewists alike. All materials and tools are included! This class includes an introduction to using the sewing machines, so even if you have been to our shop before, you'll get a chance to practice. In this class you will also learn about seam allowances, hemming, and machine applique.

This 2-part class is recommended for ages 8+
Fridays May 22nd and 29th 3:45-5:15 pm

Tomorrow, FREE/Donation!

Get a crash course in crochet AND help contribute to the Flag Wool and Fiber Festival Yarn Bomb!

Come learn crochet basics or just come for the fun! We will gather at Threaded Together and crochet pieces for the Flag Wool and Fiber Festival Yarn Bomb. All supplies will be provided for participants to use, so use what we’ve got or bring your own. This workshop is perfect for absolute beginners or anyone with a bit of experience. We will go over basic crochet stitches then spend the rest of the time practicing!

Youth Workshop- May 2, 12-2 pm, recommended for ages 8-15
Adult Workshop- May 9, 3:30-5 pm, ages 16+

The fee for this class is a suggested donation of $10 at the door. Please sign up if you know you are coming so that we can be prepared for all class participants. Please sign up at least 48 hours in advance.
