Momentum Aerial will be hosting the 3rd Annual Pollinator Parade and Aerial Show downtown, at Heritage Square on First Friday, June 5th at 5pm. Funded through Art X, this is a free event!

This is a community costume parade, so community members are invited to dress up as flowers, butterflies, bees, or any of your favorite pollinators. This short and sweet community parade will wind through the pedestrian mall by Rainbow's End, and conclude back at Heritage Square. (See the attached map for the parade route). Aspen Ave will be closed for First Friday, making this event more family friendly and pedestrian friendly for all!

Following the parade, there will be a free aerial performance on Heritage Square, featuring special guest Ballet Folkloriko, who will also perform. This is a family friendly event, and we hope you'll join us!

Monster Pillow 2 Part Youth Workshop!

A perfect companion for story time or movie nights, this throw-sized pillow has a pocket for stashing snacks or books, and wears a smile that's anything but scary!

This class is great for beginners and experienced young sewists alike. All materials and tools are included! This class includes an introduction to using the sewing machines, so even if you have been to our shop before, you'll get a chance to practice. In this class you will also learn about seam allowances, hemming, and machine applique.

This 2-part class is recommended for ages 8+
Fridays May 22nd and 29th 3:45-5:15 pm

Get a crash course in crochet AND help contribute to the Flag Wool and Fiber Festival Yarn Bomb!

Come learn crochet basics or just come for the fun! We will gather at Threaded Together and crochet pieces for the Flag Wool and Fiber Festival Yarn Bomb. All supplies will be provided for participants to use, so use what we’ve got or bring your own. This workshop is perfect for absolute beginners or anyone with a bit of experience. We will go over basic crochet stitches then spend the rest of the time practicing!

Youth Workshop- May 2, 12-2 pm, recommended for ages 8-15
Adult Workshop- May 9, 3:30-5 pm, ages 16+

The fee for this class is a suggested donation of $10 at the door. Please sign up if you know you are coming so that we can be prepared for all class participants. Please sign up at least 48 hours in advance.

We are hiring a Workroom Sewist!

Job Type: Part Time, In Person in Flagstaff, AZ
Hours: 5-15 hours a week
Shop Hours: Mostly Saturdays, with possible Wednesday - Saturday 12 pm- 5 pm
Pay Range: $18-20/ hr depending on experience

We are seeking a part time sewist to manage alterations and commissions at Threaded Together. This is an in person job opportunity and the successful hire will also assist in general shop operations. The ideal candidate will be excited to learn new skills, and be hands-on making a difference in our community.

Job Responsibilities:
Alterations and commissions
Working knowledge of sewing, construction, repairs, and sewing machines.
Thrift store operation
Answer phone and door
General knowledge of non-profit organization

Required Skills:
Sewing and alterations experience
Highly detail oriented and a quick learner
Experience working with individuals from a variety of backgrounds
Very effective communicator
Adaptable personality in a dynamic work environment
Excited about making textile arts accessible and committed to Threaded Together’s mission

Desired Skills:
Ability to troubleshoot sewing machine problems
Production sewing knowledge
Teaching experience
