Being a parent is a big job, and you don't have to do it alone. Making Opportunity Count WIC is a free program helping eligible families across North Central, Massachusetts with healthy food, nutrition education, and breastfeeding support. And research shows WIC works. Kids who participate are healthier and do better in school. So stick with WIC. We've got you covered all the way to your little one's 5th birthday! Give your child the best start in life with WIC at Making Opportunity Count.

We are so grateful that The Gables of Fitchburg celebrated "Give Like Dolly Day" with our Child Care and Head Start program! On 9/25 the kids excitedly accepted donated books from The Gables' residents and made a thank you card in return. A great time was had by all! Thank you again to everyone at The Gables for bringing your enthusiasm for supporting early literacy to Making Opportunity Count.

Some of our MOC programs have moved recently!

The Fitchburg Family Resource (FRC) and Fitchburg Community Connections Coalition (FCCC) are now at 601 River Street in Fitchburg.

Our Leominster WIC, Energy services, and HEAP can all be found on the 2nd floor, Suite 1AB of 165 Mill Street in Leominster.

Parents as Teachers (PAT) are now located at 49 Nursery Lane, Suite 201 in Fitchburg.
