Today, Black Autism Coalition (BAC) had the honor of attending the Foundations of Friendship Forum, a meaningful event focused on fostering connection, belonging, and inclusive communities for individuals with disabilities.
The forum served as a powerful reminder that friendship is essential to mental health, self-confidence, and overall quality of life. Through engaging presentations, inspiring stories, and community discussions, participants explored ways to create opportunities where everyone can build authentic and lasting relationships.
A special thank you to Taïna Janvier and Coach Angaw Kahassai for standing with BAC and representing the importance of inclusion, advocacy, and community. Your dedication, support, and presence made the day even more meaningful, and we are grateful to have you as part of this journey.

We also extend our appreciation to The Arc Massachusetts and Pathways to Friendship for organizing such an inspiring event and bringing together families, self-advocates, professionals, and community leaders committed to building a more inclusive world.

Together, we are creating communities where everyone belongs, everyone is valued, and everyone has the opportunity to build meaningful friendships. 💙
