We're excited to announce the public launch of Fitchburg Roots Inc., a newly formed nonprofit. Our mission is to engage and celebrate diversity and inclusion in Fitchburg through storytelling and community building.

In that spirit, we want to introduce our first initative. City-Wide Family Pride is a portrait contest for the children of Fitchburg. We are visiting with summer programs around the city to share a little Fitchburg pride with the children and help them create a family portrait reflecting their heritage or culture.
The collection will be displayed at the Fitchburg Art Museum beginning September 15th following an opening reception. (more details to follow).

If you have an artistic son or daughter that would be excited about having their art displayed. but are not part of a summer program, we encourage you to fill out the form below and forward it to [email protected]! There is no fee to join, and convenient pick-up locations will be announced soon! (Submission deadline is August 30th, 2021)
