🏡 ENERGY AWARENESS MONTH: Meet Our Weatherization Assistance Team! ⚡

This Energy Awareness Month, we’re shining a spotlight on the Action Pathways Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) team and the work they do to help families save energy, lower utility bills, and create safer, healthier homes.

Through home inspections and energy-efficiency improvements, our WAP team helps eligible households identify ways to make their homes more energy-efficient and reduce energy costs.

Every home is different, so the team evaluates each home to determine which improvements will provide the greatest benefit.

💡 Why does weatherization matter?
- It helps make homes more energy-efficient and comfortable.
- It helps families save money on energy bills
- It supports healthier, safer living environments, prioritizing assistance for older adults, individuals with disabilities, and families with children.

For nearly 60 years, Head Start has helped children and families build brighter futures by providing early childhood education, health and nutrition services, and family support.

At Action Pathways, we recognize the importance of programs that help children enter kindergarten ready to learn, grow and succeed. Head Start does more than prepare children for school — it strengthens families, connects them with valuable resources and helps build stronger communities.

This month, we’re celebrating Head Start’s lasting impact and recognizing the importance of continued support for the children and families who benefit from these services.

🚒 🔥 Superheroes of Safety at API Head Start! 🔥 🚒

Action Pathways, Inc. Head Start celebrated Fire Safety Week with learning, excitement, and our community’s safety superheroes! From fire truck visits and practicing fire drills to creating family fire safety plans, our children and families learned how to stay safe around fires. 🧑‍🚒

A BIG thank-you to our community helpers—the Fire Department! Thank you for helping our youngest learners build safe habits and see the heroes behind the helmets. ❤️

TRAINING DAY AT ACTION PATHWAYS

Today, Action Pathways staff took time to learn, connect and strengthen the skills that help us serve our communities.

The day included both staff and supervisory training, with topics including policy and procedures, along with other important areas that support our programs and teams.
